Inlägg av Regatta » ons 12 mar 2014 14:54

Hello,

Hello,
About the problem I write in my last post.. I arranged a simple solution to avoid more deck lift on the starboard part.
If anyone is interested more info are available on:

Cheers

Normally there should not be any problem with the deck near the chainplates. But the existing reiforcements in the deck structure and underneath the chainplates may be damaged. It could for example, be caused by simple water leakage, making the inforcements of marine plywood soft.

Hi Maja,
Yes i know thisproblem..but I always check the wet on the core with the moistmeter I owned, the value is normal about 10% also near the chainplate and the fittings.
Speaking with other M26 owner some got same problem on the starboard side...Any idea why except the water penetration on the deck?
Cheers
